A fall harvest celebration is scheduled Oct. 18 in downtown Coeur d'Alene.

Apple Palooza offers seasonal delights like caramel apple cheesecake gelato, apple pie tartlets and more at participating businesses. Tickets can be purchased between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Downtown Association booth at the 5th St. Farmers Harvest Market.

This will also be the final Farmers Market of the season on Fifth Street between Lakeside Avenue and Front Street.

New this year is the Punkin’ Stroll. From Oct. 18 to Oct. 30, visit participating businesses to judge decorated pumpkins and cast your vote for the best one. It is free to participate and winners each receive a decorated faux pumpkin and a $25 gift certificate to one of the downtown stores.

Ballot maps will be available at the Downtown Association booth during Apple Palooza, and afterward, ballots can be found at any participating business. A list of participating businesses can be found at cdadowntown.com.

The Museum of North Idaho at McEuen Park is celebrating with free hayrides, live music, pumpkin painting and history demonstrations.

A petting zoo, arts and crafts, a selfie booth and warm seasonal drinks will be available on Fifth Street between Lakeside and Coeur d'Alene avenues.
