Lake County teams had a mixed night under the Friday night lights, with Mission powering past Troy, Charlo picking up a hard-fought win at Victor, and both Ronan and Arlee coming up short on the road.

Mission 68, Troy 28

The Bulldogs continued their strong season with another explosive offensive performance, improving to 5-2. Mission’s high-powered attack overwhelmed Troy from the start, scoring early and often to stay among the top teams in the Western 8-Man ranks.

Charlo 24, Victor 16

Charlo earned its first win of the season in a gritty battle at Victor. The Vikings jumped out early with a pair of first-half touchdowns and held off a late Pirates rally to secure the 24-16 victory. The win moved Charlo to 3-4 on the year as the team looks to finish the season on a strong note.

Libby 35, Ronan 0

Ronan struggled to find offensive rhythm on the road as the Loggers’ defense kept the Chiefs (0-6) in check. Libby quarterback Tristan Andersen ran for one touchdown and threw for another to lead the way, while Bransen Holzer added scores on the ground and on a punt return.

St. Regis/Mullan 62, Arlee 26

Despite a strong start, the Warriors couldn’t contain the Tigers’ fast-paced offense in an eight-man clash on the road. Arlee dropped to 2-4 with the loss but continued to show offensive flashes, finding the end zone multiple times against one of the top teams in the conference.
