Terry Reynolds, 63, passed away peacefully on Sept. 21, 2025, in Soldotna, Alaska. He was born in Forest Grove, Oregon, to Graydon and Patricia Reynolds.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandy and their two children, Samantha (Brandon) and Conner (Rowan) and his siblings, Merlin, William, Tom, Steve and Debbie.

Terry grew up exploring the wilds of the Cascade Mountains and the beautiful Pacific Ocean coast. When he was a teenager, his family moved to Northwestern Montana, where he and his wife met. They moved to Alaska 32 years ago, where their children were born and raised.

Retired from the timber industry, Terry had great talent and skill as an antiquarian and craftsman, hobbies that he enjoyed for several years and interests that have been passed on to his children. He was an avid gun enthusiast who enjoyed collecting antique rifles and gunsmithing. He assembled and refurbished both antique pocket watches and classic cars. Terry was also a historian and astronomer. His tales of history always captured his family's attention and transported them to another place and time. His passion for astronomy brought various telescopes into the driveway during rare clear Alaskan nights, where he, his wife and children looked into the starry sky with awe.

Terry's devotion to his family was the most important part of his life. His children were beacons of light that kept him strong. He loved with strength, protection, and kindness. He taught Samantha and Conner the importance of living honestly, passionately and to always be their best selves. They will proudly carry on his memory. He was the core strength of his family. His wife will forever miss his mesmerizing blue eyes, patience, kindness and passion for life.

Terry did not want a memorial service in the event of his death. Instead, remember and celebrate Terry's life and his heavenly hereafter the next time you look up at a star alight in the night sky.
