Efficient serving carries Bulldogs past Ronan

Whitefish earned a road conference win Tuesday, defeating Ronan 3–1 with steady serving and a balanced offense, 25–21, 19–25, 25–22, 25–21.
The Bulldogs finished with 35 kills, led by a 15-kill night from Camry Kelch and eight more from Annabelle Barrile. Edolie Petersen and Stella Frisbee chipped in four kills each, with Eleanor Archie and Allie Shors adding key swings.
From the service line, Whitefish posted a 91.2 percent rate (91 attempts, 8 errors) and 6 aces, sustaining long scoring runs in Sets 1, 3 and 4. Aubrey Talbot (10-0) and Hannah Szady (5-0) were perfect in limited reps, while the Bulldogs stacked 69 total serve points across the four sets.
Defensively, Whitefish collected 60 digs, paced by Archie and Camry Kelch with 19 apiece, and Shors added 10. At the net, the Bulldogs produced eight solo blocks, including four from Avery Orme and three from Petersen.
The win gives Whitefish a 10-8-2 overall record and a 5-4 record in the Northwest A Conference.
