Hospice holding annual rose fundraiser

Roses symbolize beauty, love and resilience.
It’s no wonder, then, that Bonner General Health Community Hospice selected the flower for its annual fundraising event.
The only nonprofit hospice provider in Bonner and Boundary counties, BGH Community Hospice hosts the annual event as one of its biggest fundraisers.
Roses can be ordered online at https://bit.ly/4o34FjH, with delivery and discounts available for bulk orders.
“For each donation of $25, you will receive the gift of one dozen long-stemmed beautiful roses, and Bonner General Health Community Hospice receives funds for direct client support to community families,” said Tami Feyen, registered nurse and hospice manager.
The 28th annual sale is a chance to share not only a gift of love and remembrance, but also a way to support BGH Community Hospice “in its ongoing partnership with the community as they support and walk with those nearing the end of life, as well as their families and friends,” Feyen said.
Roses must be preordered, with delivery set for Tuesday, Nov. 4.
“You will get the most beautiful dozen roses of your choice,” Feyen said.
The roses sell out every year, and Feyen encouraged residents to reserve theirs early to ensure they don’t miss out.
Roses will be available for pickup Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the Bonner General Health Services Building, 423 N. Third Ave., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Proceeds from the fundraiser go directly to client care support, including supplies, medications and anything else a family may need to support a loved one in hospice care.
The hospice meets people where they live, working to keep clients comfortable during their final months.
