    Photo by SARA DUKE On Sunday, Oct. 12, the Sting Soccer Club 2016 Boys Black team lost 6-0 to the Washington East Surf B16 Elite Royal on a cold, rainy day. Saturday morning, Oct. 18, the Sting beat the Spokane Shadow Juniors B16/17 Basel Valley 4-3 with a goal by Lincoln Triebwasser (28) and three goals by Jackson Martin (8). The following day, Sunday, Oct. 19, the Sting fell 3-2 to the Washington East Surf B17 Elite Royal. Sting goals were scored by Emmett Cowan and Lincoln Triebwasser. The win in the district race concluded a season that saw Will win all six middle school races, which is a first for Post Falls Middle School. "His commitment to the sport was evident throughout the season in terms of setting many personal and even school records for courses," Post Falls Middle School cross country co-coach Landon Anderson said. "Beyond his exceptional individual success, Will proved to be a natural leader and captain for the Spartans middle school team. He set the tone in practice runs, he always cheered on his teammates and showed a positive attitude that infected those around him. In addition to his great success in cross country, he has maintained straight A's in the classroom and shown great character as a young man."
