Ladies Night Out – 5-8 p.m. Oct. 24 in Downtown Polson; Grab the gals for an evening for shopping, food, drinks and deals. In downtown Polson grab a $5 Saving Pass to get $5 off a $25 purchase in all participating businesses. 

Harvest/Holiday Bazaar – 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Mission Valley United Methodist Church at 70715 US-93, St Ignatius; features arts, crafts, jewelry and themed items. Serving baked goods, warm soups, coffee and tea.

Red Cross Disaster Training – 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Oct. 25 at the Polson Rural Fire District, 25b Regatta Road, Polson; This event covers what to do in case of a wildfire, home fire or other emergencies. Open to residents of Lake, Lincoln and Flathead Counties.

Polson Trunk or Treat – 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31 at 3rd Ave West, Polson; Free candy and trunks set up my local businesses, churches and non-profit organizations. 

Polson Downtown Trick or Treating – 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 31 in Downtown Polson; Halloween trick-or-treating downtown at participating Polson businesses, which will have a pumpkin in the window. 

Safe Halloween – 4-7 p.m. Oct. 31 at Pablo Christian Church; A free event for the whole family with games, food, crafts and candy. 

Arts & Crafts in Polson – 1-4 p.m. Wednesdays at Summit Independent Living, 3 Ninth Ave. West, Suite 1 in Polson; join CSKT elder Tammie Miller for an afternoon of crafting, companionship and snacks. Bring a craft project or use available materials to start one. Open to people of all abilities; call 406-215-1604 for more information.

Cheerful Heart Cancer Support Group – 10-11 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the third floor Leahy Conference Room at St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson; pastor Matthew Connolly leads the group, which welcomes those recently diagnosed or undergoing treatment, cancer survivors, and/or family members. Kiwanis – first Thursday of the month, noon at KwaTaqNuk Resort, and third Thursday of the month, 5:30 p.m. at Bunkers, Polson Bay Golf Course; Kiwanis is an international organization dedicated to improving the world one child, one community at a time. Meetings are open to the public.

Open Mic and Jam – 7 p.m. Fridays at the Western Montana Musicians Co-op, Main Street in Ronan; also on tap is a weekly Community Jam at 7 p.m. Saturdays. Learn more at www.mtmusic.org.
