On Sept. 19, 2025, Irene Loveless passed peacefully at the Libby Care Center. She was 96 years old.
She grew up in Kalispell and lived in Libby for most of her adult life. Irene married Howard Loveless and together they had two boys, Jay (deceased) and Dennis.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at the Libby Christian Church, 100 Kootenai River Road, Libby, Montana. A luncheon will follow the service.
