Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center working on preservation projects

POST FALLS — The Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center has two preservation projects on the horizon.
As stewards of the National Registry building affectionately known as the "Old Church," JACC leaders are always working to maintain and improve the 100-plus-year-old treasure the arts nonprofit calls home.
The team currently is:
• Painting the interior of the Celebration Hall — refreshing the space where many weddings, concerts and community gatherings happen.
• Refinishing the wooden floors — restoring the warm, natural beauty that enhances the space.
These improvements ensure the JACC can continue serving the community for generations to come. Every dollar raised helps bring the arts to the community while preserving a piece of Post Falls history.
The JACC also recently launched its fall membership drive. Member support helps pay for concerts, art exhibits, classes and community events.
