Levity Theatre to reduce ticket prices
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 1 month, 1 week AGO
While many companies and organizations are raising prices to keep up with inflation, local improv comedy group Levity Theatre is taking the opposite approach.
Levity announced in an Oct. 17 news release that it is lowering its ticket prices as of Nov. 1 to ensure that laughter, connection and community remain accessible to everyone.
Adult tickets will be reduced from $16 to $10. Child tickets will be reduced from $11 to $5. For those experiencing financial hardship, Levity is also offering 100% off using coupon code GIVING.
“Honestly, the economy sucks right now,” Levity Theatre founder Noah Johnson said in the news release. “Everyone deserves to laugh and needs some levity. Our mission has always been to serve our community and bring people together through comedy, and every penny counts nowadays.”
Levity Theatre’s first production at the new prices will be an Improvised Comedy Show at 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Unity Center for Spiritual Growth, 4465 N. 15th St., Coeur d’Alene.
Johnson said this wouldn't be possible without support from the community.
“When you come to a show or tell your friends about us, you’re helping us keep family-friendly comedy alive in Coeur d’Alene," he said. "You’re helping us keep joy alive. And if you have to choose between buying groceries or coming to a show, please use the coupon code GIVING at checkout to get tickets for free, no questions asked."
