NIC WRESTLING: Cardinals open with victory over MSU-Northern

COEUR d'ALENE — Redshirt freshman Owen Pritchard (125 pounds), freshman Parker Ballantyne (141) and sophomore Ray Griffin (285) had pins for North Idaho College in a 35-17 win over Montana State-Northern in the season opener for both at Christianson Gymnasium on Friday.

Ryan Graves, a former Post Falls High star, won at 157 pounds for Montana State-Northern.

NIC returns to action against Corban and Eastern Oregon next Friday in La Grande, Ore.
