A 65-year-old woman was hospitalized Friday, Oct. 24 after she jumped out of a moving vehicle on Highway 2.
According to Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino the woman, a passenger in the vehicle, apparently had an argument with her daughter when she jumped out of the moving vehicle at highway speeds about 7 p.m. near Bench Run Road. Her name was not released.
Three Rivers Ambulance, Bad Rock and Columbia Falls firefighters responded to the scene. The woman had significant head injuries and was lying in the middle of the road when emergency personnel and law enforcement arrived.
The incident is not believed to be criminal in nature, Heino noted. The woman's condition was unavailable.
