The seniors for the Troy Trojans football team were honored Friday night before their game against Arlee, a 54-6 defeat.

They included Carson Orr, Brayden Ridgway, Sawyer Savage, Gunnar Fisher, Kevin Hake.

The Trojans had a rough start, fumbling the opening kickoff. Arlee recovered the ball and scored soon after for a 6-0 lead just 63 seconds into the game.

Troy punted on its next possession and the Warriors scored quickly, making it 14-0.

Troy lost the ball on downs on its second possession and Arlee scored to make it 20-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Troy lost the ball on downs again, but Arlee then gave the ball back to the Trojans when Maddux Stow intercepted the ball. Troy punted again.

Arlee turned the ball over again when Orr picked off a Warriors pass. But Arlee followed with another interception and the Trojans got the ball back.

Troy’s No. 15 made a heckuva diving catch on a deep throw and Orr capped the drive with a 10-yard TD run to make it 20-6.

The Warriors quickly responded with a TD to make it 28-6 at halftime.

The Trojans finished the season winless at 0-9.
