Bonny Kay Hill (Colvin), 76, of Missoula, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025.

Born on June 29, 1949, in Fairmont, Minnesota, Bonny was the daughter of Arthur and Hazel Colvin. She was a twin to her brother, Bob, and had an older sister, Tammy, and a younger sister, Debbie.

After graduating, Bonny married Russell Hill. They raised a blended family of five children, three of her own; Ryan, Devin, and Kami, and two stepsons David and Roy. In 1983, the family relocated from Minnesota to Montana. Bonny was a hard worker, serving as a waitress at Rosie’s Cafe and later as a cashier at the Travel Center Gift Shop.

After 23 years of marriage, Bonny and Russell divorced and she eventually moved to Tucson, Arizona, to dedicate her time to care for her mother and aunt. In Tucson, she worked as a cashier in the gift shop at the Desert Senora Museum, where she often enjoyed watching the local desert animals.

Upon the passing of her mother and aunt, Bonny returned to Missoula, Montana, and worked as a grocery cashier for Rosauers until her retirement in 2015. Bonny truly cherished the friendships she made with her co-workers and continued to meet with the “breakfast club” ladies regularly after retirement.

Bonny had a cheerful disposition, a love for laughter, and was known for always offering compliments to those around her. In her spare time, she enjoyed searching for treasures with her metal detector, watching Tennis on TV, and crafting dream catchers. More than anything, her favorite activity was spending time with her children and grandchildren whenever possible.
Bonny was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Hazel; her sisters, Tammy and Debbie; and her twin brother, Bob.

She is survived by her three children: Ryan Hill (Carmin) of Alder, Devin Hill (Tina) of St. Regis, and Kami Milender (Richard) of Superior and her two stepsons, David Hill (Julie) of Rathdrum, and Roy Hill (WaNell) of DeBorgia. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will deeply miss her warmth and presence.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the St. Regis Church.
