"Dennis Keith Sanders will be deeply missed each and every day until we see him again. He is now at peace with God and reunited forever with his beloved wife, Diana."

Dennis faithfully followed after God throughout his life. Guided by the Holy Spirit, he sought truth and grew continually in his knowledge of Christ. He loved the Lord deeply and always longed to know Him more.

Born on Nov. 11, 1946 (Veterans Day), to John and Verna Sanders, Dennis was the youngest of three children, with an older brother, Larry, and a sister, Lani.

He attended a four-year college with the goal of becoming a forest ranger, served four years in the U.S. Navy, and later completed a four-year carpentry trade school. Dennis married his sweetheart, Diana, and joined the Carpenters' Union. He eventually owned and operated his own carpentry business for many years until his retirement.

A master carpenter, Dennis built many beautiful custom homes — his favorite being a stunning home in Hawaii. Beyond his craftsmanship, Dennis was known for his love of God, people, and animals. He truly understood that we are all precious to our Heavenly Father.

Dennis's legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on forever. He was faithful to God, and we know that God remains faithful — always and forever.

He is survived by his daughter, Brenda, and her husband, Joel; their children, Joel Jr., Mark, Sarah, John, James, and Jesse; and Brenda's sister-in-law and her husband Jimmy.

All who loved Dennis are welcome to join his family in celebrating his life at a memorial service to be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Van Wyck Campground in Cascade, Idaho. You are invited to bring a photo to share if you wish.
