Janell Lynn Mollett, 68

Our beloved Gram joined her family in Heaven on Oct. 25, surrounded by the people she loved. Janell was born in Newman Grove, Neb., to Kay and Don Houser. She grew up in a loving household with her brother, Jon, and sister Dawn. 

She met her husband, Rodney, in Coeur d'Alene, while he was working for her parents’ business, Hilton Carpets. Rod and Janell later got married Nov. 20, 1976. They went on to have four beautiful children, Jesse, Catey, Casey and Jessica. They had five grandkids and one great-grandbaby.

Her pride and joy were her family first and garage saling second. She owned many businesses throughout her life, and her most recent was CJ’s Family Tradition in Rathdrum for the last 14 years, where she built her own little community. 

She is preceded in death by her sister, Kelli, husband Rodney, son Jesse and her father, Don. Janell is lovingly remembered by her mother, Kay Houser; children, Casey (Amanda), Catey (Parley) and Jessica (Tom); grandchildren, Breanna (Dusten), Jesse (Abi), Riley (Western), Tyler and Lilly; and great-grandbaby, Emmi-Lou. 

The Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m. at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls — a celebration of life potluck to immediately follow at CJ’s Family Tradition in Rathdrum.
