Whitefish rallies past C-Falls in 5

WHITEFISH — Camry Kelch and Annabelle Barrile combined for 25 Whitefish kills and the Bulldogs rallied from two sets down to beat Columbia Falls in Northwest A volleyball Tuesday.

Kelch added 16 digs to go with her 14 kills for Whitefish, which won 24-26, 22-25, 25-19, 25-21, 15-10.  

Rylee Sweeney had 14 kills and Annabelle Middlesworth added nine the Wildkats. 

With the win Whitefish finished in fourth place in the Northwest A standings; the Bulldogs will host Browning in a play-in match Thursday. Ronan and Libby will square off Thursday as well, and Thursday’s winners will meet Saturday to decide who goes to next week’s Western A Divisional in Libby. 

The top three seeds from the Northwest are, in order: Bigfork, Polson and Columbia Falls.  

Sol Holmquist filled up the stat sheet for Whitefish with five kills, four digs, three blocks and three aces. 

Ashlyn Dunham had eight kills, eight digs and four blocks for the Kats; teammate Peyton Ross had seven kills, six digs and three blocks.
