STATE TIMBER SALE  CR200421, CAESAR TON    A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 2550 Highway 2 W., Sandpoint, ID 83864, at 9:00 a.m. local time, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 for an estimated 27,319 tons of timber, marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser.  Prior to bidding, eligible bidders shall present a certified check or bank draft payable to Idaho Department of Lands, or a bid bond acceptable to the State, in the amount of $87,347.41 which is 10% of the appraised net sale value of $873,474.10. The average minimum bid price is $45.90 per TON. The successful bidder’s deposit will be forfeited to the State should the bidder fail to complete the contract. The State will not accept bids from parties who are delinquent on payments on existing state contracts.  The sale is located within Sections 35 & 36, Township 61N, Range 02W, B.M., Boundary County, State of Idaho. Sale duration is 3 years. The Boundary County Planning and Zoning Department, in accordance with CFR Title 44 65.7(b)(1), and the National Flood Insurance Program, hereby gives notice of the County’s intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between Moravia, Idaho and the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge.   Specifically, the flood hazard information will be revised along Deep Creek from a point approximately 2.7 miles upstream of the confluence with the Kootenai River, to the Spokane Internation railroad, a point approximately 3.6 miles upstream of the confluence with the Kootenai River, to capture revisions resulting from a floodplain restoration project.   As a result of the revision, the floodway will widen and narrow, the 1-percent-annual-chance water surface elevations shall decrease, and the 1-percent-annual-chance floodplain will widen and narrow within the area of revision.   Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the Boundary County Administration building at 6452 Kootenai Street, Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805.
