Moses Lake

Kids Costume Contest

Halloween crafts and spooky movie at the library

The library will be leading several craft activities for people of all ages. The event starts at 4 p.m. and goes until 5:30 p.m. The library recommends that people show up a little bit early, as supplies are limited.  Following that from 6 to 8:30 will be a free movie for ages 13 and up, with popcorn thrown in. Happy Howl-oween

‘Carnival of Souls’ Halloween movie

The classic 1962 film follows Mary Henry, a young woman whose life is disturbed after a car accident. She relocates to a new city, where she finds herself unable to assimilate with the locals and becomes drawn to the pavilion of an abandoned carnival. Rated PG and recommended for ages 13 and up. Halloween Brew-ha-ha

Stop by with the littles for trick-or-treating before 7 p.m., then enjoy an adult evening of mystery and fun. Dia de los Muertos Halloween Party

Sipping in the Shadows

Not a costume party, just a vibe. Attendees are encouraged to dress all in black. Black martinis, beer and margaritas will be available. Free admission. 6-10 p.m. at Moses Lake Taproom, 530 W. Valley Road.

Ephrata

St. Rose of Lima Trunk-or-Treat

Soap Lake

Trunk or Treat

Wahitis PTO Trunk-or-Treat

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Trunk-or-Treat

Have a safe space for your children to trick or treat. Decorate your car, if you like, and bring some wrapped treats to pass out to the children. Free Halloween Movie Night

Quincy

Downtown Trick or Treat

All kinds of creatures will be out and about in downtown Quincy for the annual Trick or Treat walk. Central Avenue South will be closed to B Street Southeast; spooky music will be provided by Phase 3 DJ – Albert Castro. Trick or treat will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., or until the candy runs out. Mattawa

Mattawa Trunk or Treat

The city of Mattawa is sponsoring Trunk or Treat from 5 to 7 p.m. in the city hall parking lot, 521 Government Road. People are invited to decorate their cars and hand out candy. Refreshments will be available on site for purchase.

Warden

Friday morning story time

From 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., children between ages 0 and 5 are invited to the Warden Library for action songs, fingerplays, rhyming and story time. After storytime, there is a craft or special activity.

    Trick-or-treaters in downtown Ephrata will have more than 30 businesses offering candy and fun.
