Sentencing was deferred in District Court in Polson on Oct. 23 for a total of six years for a Ronan man who admitted to stealing a pair of ATVs.

Kesean Eugene Burke, 24, entered a plea of guilty on Aug. 7 to two counts of felony theft as part of a plea agreement.

According to charging documents, one ATV, a red sportsman, was stolen from in front of a Polson residence on March 23. It was later located on Clarice Paul Road in the Ronan area about an hour after its owner posted about its theft on social media. The second theft involves an ATV that was on a trailer stolen from the Ronan area on Feb. 2.

Judge John A. Mercer also ordered Burke to pay restitution of $2,052 and gave him 107 days credit for jail time already served.
