The Kootenai Environmental Alliance and Coeur d'Alene Public Library will host the Green Screen Series and Eco Film Forum with the first film showing at 2 p.m. Nov. 8.

Each month, an environmentally focused film will be shared to provide insight and spark conversation about how to approach these topics locally.

The series will commence with, "How Much Progress Have We Made on Climate Change?" This film shows progress made around the globe in reducing carbon emissions.

Following the film, a discussion with time for questions will be led by community panelists:
• Craig Cooper, PhD, limnologist and local climate resilience advocate
• Bill Irving, local author of “Losing Home: Grief and Hope in a Changing World”
• Aiyana James, Coeur d’Alene Tribe climate resilience coordinator

The Coeur d'Alene Public Library is at 702 E. Front Ave., Coeur d'Alene.
