Planning Department warns of phishing attempt

The Bonner County Planning Department is warning citizens working with the county of a phishing attempt impersonating the planning department.  

According to officials, the scams appear as fake invoices claiming to be sent from the Planning Department.  

Interim Planning Director Alex Feyen is urging community members to exercise caution with unsolicited emails requesting payments or sensitive personal information. 

Residents who receive suspicious messages are advised not to click on links or provide payment details and to contact the Planning Department directly to verify any legitimate communications.
