From left, Evan Dickinson, a 2023 graduate of Sandpoint High, and Jett Longanecker, a 2024 graduate of Sandpoint High, both started in the College of Idaho Men's Soccer team's season-opening 0-0 draw against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Tucson, Ariz.). Dickinson, former NJCAA All-American at Walla Walla CC, got the nod at center back and played all 90 minutes in his debut. Longanecker, in his third career start for the Yotes, played 59 minutes at outside left back and briefly at forward before a small forehead cut forced him off.
