POST FALLS — Junior Reese Crawford scored a pair of second-half goals for the Lake City Timberwolves in a 4-0 win over the Post Falls Trojans on Tuesday at Post Falls High.
“After a tough stretch in Portland and several injuries over the two-day span, our young players rose to the occasion against Post Falls,” said Lake City coach Chaz Donovan, whose team lost to Oregon teams Beaverton and Tigard last Thursday and Friday, both on the road. “They stepped up, competed with heart and showed incredible resilience. The future is bright for this group, and we’re excited about what’s ahead. Now, it’s all about staying focused and locked in as we push through the rest of the schedule.”
Lake City (2-3) travels to Lewiston next Tuesday.
Post Falls hosts Moscow on Thursday.

COEUR d’ALENE — Junior Riley Brazle had five goals and two assists for the Timberwolves in a win over the visiting Trojans at the Irma Anderl Soccer Complex.
Sophomore Ava Roberts had a hat trick and junior Chloe Burkholder had two goals and an assist for Lake City (3-0-1), which is scheduled to play at Walla Walla today.
Post Falls (0-3) travels to Moscow on Thursday.
