Blues legend to perform in Newport

Terry Robb is returning to the area for a special upcoming performance at the Create Art Center.
The concert will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at the center, 900 W. Fourth St., Newport.
The international acoustic guitarist is renowned for his performances of blues, ragtime, and slide music with his rapid fingering picking style.
Robb has produced 15 albums, is a sought-after teacher, touring in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He has shared the with stage with B.B. King, Joe Crocker, Bo Diddley, David Crosby, Leo Kottek and more. His TV appearances profile American roots and blues music and have been included in such shows and films as "Game of Thrones," "The Horse Whisperer," and “Don’t Worry, He Won’t get Far on Foot."
