SANDPOINT — Junior forward Isaac Lowder scored twice for the visiting Coeur d’Alene Vikings in a 2-1 win over the Sandpoint Bulldogs at War Memorial Field on Thursday.

Sandpoint sophomore Alvaro Santos scored in the 73rd minute to cut the deficit to 2-1.

“After that goal went in, we thought maybe we didn’t have enough,” Harmelink said. “But I was super proud of the boys. They stuck together and were able to come out with the win.”

We just couldn’t get a good look in the final third. They’re a good, physical team and we need to play a little tougher and get that final pass to get a better shot off.”
