Gove wins PNW PGA Senior Professional Championship

SHORELINE, Wash. — After shooting a 2-over-par 74 first round, Sandpoint's Jeff Gove delivered a 6-under-par 66 second round to clinch the The Pacific Northwest PGA Senior Professional Championship held Thursday and Friday at the Seattle Golf Club.
Gove, representing The Idaho Club, fired in seven birdies during his second round, eight total over the two-day event, and made 24 pars.
The Pacific Northwest Section includes 1,350 PGA members and associates in Washington, Oregon, North Idaho, Western Montana, and Alaska. The Senior PGA Professional Championship is one of three senior major championships conducted by the section.
"It was an honor to play at Seattle Golf Club in the 2025 Senior PGA Professional Championship," Gove said in a celebratory social media post. "So fun to be the winner and represent The Idaho Club... Thanks to Straight Down and TaylorMade Golf for your continued support."
For his efforts, he captured $2,000 of the purse and now advances directly to the 37th Senior PGA Professional Championship, set to be held Oct. 23 through 26 at PGA Golf Club in Port Saint Lucie, Fla.
Top finishers at the 37th Senior PGA Professional Championship will earn a berth in the 2026 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, golf's most historic senior major, set to be held April 16 through 19 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla.
