Agritourism grants  

The Montana Department of Commerce Agritourism Grant Program will accept applications from Sept. 24 through Oct. 23.  

These grants support tribal and agricultural businesses and rural communities by assisting with diversifying operations, developing and enhancing agritourism opportunities and generating tourism revenue for the benefit of local Montana economies.  For more information, visit commerce.mt.gov. 


Wood products loan 

The Montana Department of Commerce’s Wood Products Revolving Fund is accepting new applications under updated program guidelines. The program has transitioned to a loan participation structure for funding requests of up to $2 million and will continue to offer direct loans for amounts under $1 million. Columbia Falls chamber luncheon 

Join the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce at Cedar Creek Lodge on Sept. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for their membership luncheon. Sheriff Brian Heino will give a presentation on the jail bond initiative, which will be on the ballot Nov. 4. The luncheon costs $16 per person for chamber members and $20 per person for non-chamber members. Register by noon on Sept. 8 to be guaranteed lunch. 


UNWIND with Weyerhauser  

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce holds its UNWIND on Sept. 9 at 5 p.m. with Weyerhauser at Sacred Waters Brewing Company, 3250 U.S. 2 E. in Kalispell. The event is hosted by a different chamber member each month, giving the business the opportunity to highlight itself and attendees to network with other business professionals.  


Bigfork Chamber Sundowner 

The Bigfork Area Chamber of Commerce's monthly networking event, the Sundowner, is at Katie Hicks State Farm Insurance on Sept. 11, starting at 5 p.m., located at 2861 Montana 82, Suite 1 in Bigfork. Plan to attend and network with business professionals in the community and hear about upcoming events. 


Coffee Connect  

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce holds its Coffee Connect on Sept. 12 at Berkshire Hathaway at 8 a.m., 123 Main St. in Kalispell. The program features a host, a spotlight speaker, testimonials for chamber members and pass the mic to meet each other.
