Harvest Moon Fest in October, benefits the Making Place in Columbia Falls

Celebrate craft, creativity, and community at the second annual Harvest Moon Fest, Saturday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 700 Mooring Road in Columbia Falls.

This family-friendly fall arts festival brings together local makers and neighbors for a day of connection and fun. Enjoy hands-on activities, artist booths, live music, food trucks, drinks, games, a pie raffle, and more. Guests can try new creative skills, connect with local artists, and take home their own handmade art all while enjoying food, drinks, and live music.

Proceeds benefit The Making Place, a grassroots nonprofit providing creative space and resources for the Flathead Valley. TMP recently opened its first location above Uptown Hearth in Columbia Falls, featuring a shared community workspace, creative classes, and a tool library — a place for people to learn, share, and create together.

“We see the need in our community for a third space—a public place where people can share their skills and practice their craft,” said Justin Barry, board member and organizer.
