It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of "Bud" Ronald P. Corder of Athol, Idaho. He was born July 5, 1942, and he went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Aug. 24, 2025.
Bud was in the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1964 and served in the National Guard from 1966 to 1968. Bud was a member of the Athol Volunteer Fire Department for several years before being elected Fire Chief.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy, and their six children, Susan, Ron, Sonia, Joe, Kyle and Natalie. Ron has 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is survived by four siblings, Francis, Bill, Anita and Rod.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Eva Corder, and three siblings, Merv, Carl and Peggy.
A memorial potluck will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at Athol Community Center from noon to 4 p.m.
