West, a junior from Coeur d’Alene High, finished tied for 12th in the Walla Walla University Invitational, which concluded on Tuesday at the Wine Valley Golf Club in Walla Walla, Wash., shooting a 1-under-par 215. West carded a 69 in the first round, 74 in the second and 72 in the third round.
Eli McNelly
Eastern Washington golf
McNelly, a sophomore who played his freshman year at North Idaho College, shot a 5-under-par 66 to tie in the Palouse Collegiate at Palouse Ridge Golf Course, helping the Eagles to the team title. McNelly finished with a 66-72-75—213. Eastern Washington is coached by former NIC men’s and women’s golf coach Russell Grove.
