Cardinal men's soccer
moving up NJCAA poll
The North Idaho College men’s soccer team moved from 18th to 14th in this week’s NJCAA Top 20 poll, released earlier this week.
NIC (5-1) opened Scenic West Athletic Conference play with a 6-0 win over Pacific Northwest Christian of Kennewick, Wash., last Saturday in Kennewick. The Cardinals travel to face Truckee Meadows (1-3, 0-1) today in Reno, Nev., then will face in-state rival College of Southern Idaho (1-3, 1-0) on Saturday in Twin Falls.
NIC’s women (1-2-1) also opened conference play with a 5-0 win at Pacific Northwest Christian (0-1, 0-1) last Saturday. The Cardinals will conclude the road trip at CSI (2-0, 1-0), which received votes in this week’s poll.
