Ralph E. Crabb, 91, passed away peacefully Sept. 5, 2025. Born on Aug. 2, 1934, in Morton, Idaho, to Clarence and Ruth Crabb. He was the youngest of eight brothers and sisters. All of whom preceded him in death.

He married Leona Crabb on July 31, 1960. She passed away in 2020, two days after their 60th Anniversary. He drove trucks most of his working years. He coached and also played baseball. He was an excellent switch-hitter who would make the other team scramble on defense. He very seldom missed any of his grandkids' baseball games.

Ralph enjoyed bowling more than anything. He was always in several leagues for over 50 years and wasn’t afraid to help others with friendly tips to improve their game.

He kept his yard and garden looking like it was maintained by professionals.

He enjoyed hunting deer and elk. To help out the herds in the harsh winter months, he would put out hay in his fields. There were always people who would stop and take pictures of 10, 20 or even 30 elk or more that were enjoying the hay.

Ralph is survived by his two sons, Scott and Dale; grandchildren Tyler, Kyra, Cody, Patrick and Samantha; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

It was Ralph and Leona’s wish not to have a service for themselves. We will be having a celebration of life for Ralph for family and close friends. Please contact Scott or Dale for details.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity or food bank in Ralph’s name.

Yates Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the final arrangements. Please visit Ralph’s online memorial at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com and sign his guest book.
