Leslie Anne Charest, 65, died Sept. 1, 2025, at Logan Health Center in Kalispell.
She was born in Norfork, Virginia, the daughter of Richard J. Charest and the late Rebecca G. (Jones) Charest. She married Richard E. Jensen. They were later divorced.
She is survived by her only child, Christoher S. Jensen. She is also survived by her father, Richard J. Charest; sister, Sherry L. Charest and nephews, Joseph Dalton (J.D.) and Jacob (Jake) Meek.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca G. Charest.
She retired from the US Air Force/Army National Guard/Army after serving 23 years. She also worked at the VHA Readjustment Counseling Service as a GS-07/05. She was a lifetime member of VFW 2252 in Kalispell.
Leslie was deployed to Iraq from 2003 to 2004.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 3:30 p.m. at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home in Kalispell. Burial of ashes will be at the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a brain injury charity of your choice in honor of her son, Christopher.
