Surrounded by loved ones, Tom Mohler, 78, recently lost his battle with Parkinson’s disease. Raised in Ohio, his Air Force service placed him in Montana, where he met his future wife, Jan Ciba. They raised four children in the Flathead Valley while Tom spent 37 years working for the State of Montana Job Service. Tom was passionate about the outdoors, spending weekends horse packing and hunting in the fall.

In his later years, Parkinson’s took its toll on his physical body, but his love for his family, his faith in Jesus, and the smiles of his grandchildren provided the foundation for his unwavering optimism.

Tom’s legacy lives on in his children, Josh, Isaac, and Sam; in his nine grandchildren and in his loving wife of 55 years, Jan.

Tom’s passing was preceded by his parents, Archie and Emma Mohler; daughter, Emily and granddaughter, Piper.

A celebration of life honoring Tom will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, at 11 a.m. at Canvas Church, 255 Summit Ridge Dr., Kalispell. Live stream available at (https://canvas.church/broadcast/).
