Athol teen injured in crash between scooter, tow truck

An Athol teen was injured in a crash Wednesday morning, according to Idaho State Police. 

The crash occurred at 7:44 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of southbound U.S. 95 off ramp and Highway 54 and involved a 37-year-man from Athol driving a tow truck and a 16-year-old girl who was riding a scooter. 

The teen was transported to the hospital by ambulance, according to ISP. 

The crash remains under investigation. Witnesses are encouraged to call ISP at 208-209-8730.
