Senior running back Treker Hickey carried the Bigfork Vikings to a signature win Friday night, rushing for 179 yards and two touchdowns in a 14-7 victory over Class A power Dillon.

Hickey wasted no time putting his stamp on the game, breaking loose for a 24-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter to give Bigfork (2-1) a 7-0 lead. The defense held firm through halftime, led by Walker Willis with a sack and Hickey, Alex Ochs, and Dane Carlsen combining for 17 tackles.

Dillon (0-3) tied the game in the third quarter on a 20-yard run from quarterback Canin Christiansen, who also threw for 237 yards on 18 completions. But Bigfork responded immediately, marching 75 yards before Hickey finished the drive with a 10-yard scoring run to restore the lead.

The Beavers threatened in the fourth quarter, reaching the Viking 27-yard line, but a turnover on downs with 6:40 remaining sealed the outcome. Bigfork leaned on its ground game to run out the clock, finishing with 194 rushing yards.

Quarterback Cole Schmit added 108 passing yards on 11 completions, while Tayden West chipped in 36 rushing yards on eight carries.
