The Mineral County Pioneer Council Bus Transit Building at 110 Moats Lane passed its final walk through after inspections were conducted by Slate Architecture in Helena and the Montana Department of Transportation.
Their new nine-paseenger bus claimed one of the four bays and the other three will be home to the minivans the council has been using for the past few years transporting Mineral County residents to Missoula and in-county for shopping and medical appointments at Jack Lincoln Clinic in St. Regis and Mineral Community Hospital in Superior.
“We want to give a special shout out to Shadow Asphalt. As a woman-owned construction company, we were excited to see two women on their paving crew and to watch such a cohesive team working efficiently together,” said Pam Reed, Vice President/CEO of Reed Mountain Construction, Inc. in Alberton who were the General Contractors. “Also, to Haskins Excavation who never hesitates to meet and exceed expectations always doing what is necessary to get the job done to Paul’s (Reed) standards. To Snow Mountain Electric, who has been our electrician for over 20 years. They’ve always gone above and beyond for us. Finally, to Marble Creek Construction, our finish carpenters, whose attention to detail is incredible.”
A public Open House will be announced soon. To schedule a ride with front door pickup, call (406) 552-7003.
