Bonners Ferry Herald welcomes new staff reporter
NOAH HARRIS | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 2 months, 2 weeks AGO
My name is Noah Harris, and I started working at the Bonners Ferry Herald this week.
Firstly, I believe in providing accurate information to the community and promise the Herald’s readers that I will not put any opinions I may have into my writing.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles (I didn’t choose to live there, and I’m glad to have left), and I went to college in Northern California. My only concern is the unbiased truth, and where I have previously lived will not affect that.
I believe local news is extremely important because it can help connect and inform the community it serves, and its readers are reading about issues and topics that affect them personally.
I promise that most of my articles will focus on Bonners Ferry, which is a lovely place with lovely people. A weakness of mine is finding topics to write about, so do not hesitate to send me ideas for stories you may have. I can be reached at [email protected] or by calling the Herald at 208-267-5521. I cannot promise that all ideas will become fully fledged articles, but I can promise I will read every suggestion and look forward to conversations about covering our community in the newspaper.
I can’t wait to explore as much of Bonners Ferry as I can. The nature is spectacular, and I’ve never seen this much green in my life. I hope to be here for a long time, and I’m pleased to write for this wonderful newspaper.
Thanks to my father, I’m a massive baseball fan, and I played left field for my high school. I’m also a big football fan — Go Badgers! Thanks to my mother, I love to read, and I’ll be at the library frequently. If you see me around town, do not hesitate to say hello.
