New women’s health providers welcomed at Logan Health-Whitefish

Logan Health is expanding obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) services in Whitefish.
Beginning Sept. 25, Tessa Winterton, MD, will be bring her expertise to Logan Health Specialty Clinic in Whitefish, along with part-time colleagues Karysse Hutson, DO, Daniel Tomlinson, MD, and additional OB/GYN providers coming onboard in the fall.
Misha Russ, CNM, will also be joining the team to provide expert midwifery care.
This expansion of services will benefit Whitefish women by enhancing access to Logan Health’s comprehensive services and ensuring continuity of care with the Birth Center at Logan Health – Whitefish, according to a release from Logan Health.
As a designated Baby-Friendly facility, Logan Health – Whitefish delivers around 600 babies annually and offers childbirth education and prenatal breastfeeding classes.
Dr. Winterton looks forward to collaborating with her colleagues to provide the best care possible for her patients.
"I am excited to partner with Logan Health - Whitefish to improve access to full-spectrum pregnancy and women's health care for the families of Whitefish and the surrounding communities,” Winterton said. “This collaboration will allow me and my colleagues the platform to provide even more comprehensive and coordinated care to women at every stage of life, and I look forward to our patients having an outstanding care experience."
Service Line Director Sid Neilson sees this new service as a great enhancement to care in the region.
