The sophomore setter from Post Falls High was named Most Valuable Player of the Husky Invitational last weekend at American Airlines Arena in Seattle. Munday had 106 assists, 19 digs and six aces in two matches, including 50 assists for the Toreros (5-3) in a 23-25, 25-20, 19-25, 25-21, 15-12 victory over the host Washington Huskies (4-4) in their final match of the tournament.

Lewis-Clark State men's golf

West, a junior from Coeur d'Alene High, lead the Warriors to a sixth-place finish in the Northwest Iowa Invitational at Willow Creek Golf Club in Le Mars, Iowa, shooting a 6-under-par 207 to finish tied for ninth individually. West followed up a career-best round of 69-66 on Monday with a 1-over 72 in the final round.


Delaney Moczan

Carroll women's soccer

Moczan, a junior from Lake City High, scored in the 14th minute of the Saints match with Division III Whitworth last Saturday at the Whitworth Soccer Field, her third goal of the season. Moczan led Carroll (2-0-2) with three shots on goal in the match.
