On Sept. 11, 28-year-old Lindsey Tryon of St. Ignatius overcorrected her truck on McDonald Lake Road, which caused her vehicle to skid and head off the road.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol report, her truck then overturned and went through a fence. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Tryon was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Drug use and speed were suspected factors in the accident.
In a press release Tuesday, Lake County Sheriff Don Bell said that Tryon was the only person in the vehicle and Montana Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash. Her body was transported to the Lake County Coroner's Office for an autopsy.
