The council also approved:
Ronan Co-op Brewery’s application for an open container permit for Farm to Table dinner at Mission West Community Development Partners, 407 Main Street SW, 3-10 p.m. Sept. 18.
Ronan Co-op Brewery’s application for an open container permit and street closure for 4th Ave. SW from Main Street to the alley on Sept. 26 for an Octoberfest and anniversary event from 4-9 p.m.
Ronan High Principal Kevin Kenelty’s application for the closure of Main Street on Oct. 3 for the Homecoming Parade from 4-5:30 p.m.
In other business, council members approved Ronan Police Chief Rob Jacobson, acting on behalf of the Ronan Police Department, to enter into a five-year contract with Axon Enterprises for body cameras, evidence storage, etc.. Jacobson said Axon Enterprises is the “gold standard” for police needs.
