The sounds and flavors of Bavaria will be celebrated from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday during the Music Conservatory of Coeur d'Alene's fourth annual Oktoberfest fundraiser.

The Northwest Alphorns, CDA Brass, the Squeezin' Sisters and the Music Conservatory’s youth choir will perform during this family-friendly fall celebration. Festivities will take place on the lawn of the conservatory, 627 N. Government Way, Coeur d'Alene.

The Squeezin Sisters — accordionists Rita Everett and Rozella Roosenberg — have been entertaining since they were 11 and 12. Their first appearance was at the German Club of Spokane. They have competed in Kimberley, British Columbia, and in Leavenworth, Wash. They have also belonged to the Spokane Accordion Ensemble and the Hugo Helmor Accordion Band.

“This is our 'back-to-music-school' season, so each year we strive to create a family-friendly celebration where young children and those who are young at heart can experience the fun of Oktoberfest right here in Coeur d’Alene,” Music Conservatory of Coeur d'Alene Executive Director Cynthia Newkirk said in a Tuesday news release. "This is a perfect opportunity to bring our community together to ask for their support for music education and our mission to nurture musical excellence through accessible instruction, collaborative partnerships and performance.”

The Music Conservatory of Coeur d'Alene's Oktoberfest will include a silent auction. Proceeds from the event will benefit the nonprofit’s general fund. Tickets are $30 for adults, $10 for under 21 and $75 per family (two adults plus two or more under 21). Each ticket includes a “Taste of Bavaria” plate with a grilled bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad, German chocolate cake and apple cider. Each adult ticket for those 21 and older includes one free beer or wine to be enjoyed in the beer garden, sponsored by Bombastic Brewing. Tickets and info: cdaconservatory.org/events
