WALLACE — The City of Wallace, in partnership with J-U-B Engineers, is inviting residents, business owners, and other community stakeholders to attend an upcoming open house focused on the City of Wallace Comprehensive Master Plan Update. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Wallace Inn.
The Comprehensive Master Plan serves as a foundational document guiding the city’s long-term vision for growth, development, and community priorities. It outlines strategies to ensure Wallace remains a vibrant, livable, and sustainable community for generations to come.
According to the City of Wallace Comprehensive Plan Update website, the city’s original comprehensive plan was adopted in 1890 and has undergone several amendments over the years to reflect changing needs and priorities.
“All of us are eager to have a healthy community that offers opportunities for residents and visitors alike to enjoy all the city has to offer,” the website states. “A new Comprehensive Plan will address a variety of topics, beyond the planning and zoning issues, and address areas of concern to all members of the Wallace community.”
The open house is designed as a drop-in event, allowing attendees to stop by at their convenience to learn more about the planning process, understand the importance of the master plan, and explore how it will shape the future of Wallace. Members of the project team will be available throughout the evening to answer questions and gather public input.
Community feedback is a vital part of the planning process, and attendees will have the opportunity to share their thoughts, concerns, and ideas directly with planners and city representatives.
