ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Belen Gonzales, Sandpoint Volleyball

This week's Athlete of the Week is Belen Gonzales of Sandpoint Volleyball.

Belen, a 5-foot 10-inch senior, recorded a team-high 14 kills, four total blocks (three solo and one assisted), and two aces to go along with 15 digs in the Lady Bulldogs' 3-0 sweep of Lakeland — their first win over the Lady Hawks since 2018. Across eight games on the season, the high-flying outside hitter now has 52 kills, 10 aces, 14 total blocks and 77 digs.
