PRIEST RIVER — Senior Jayda Storro collected a team-high 19 assists and a tied for team-high five aces as the Lady Spartans grabbed their seventh straight win and 10th win of the season in a senior night sweep of the Lady Badgers (25-21, 25-14, 25-13) Tuesday night at Priest River High.

"The name of the game tonight was attitude," Priest River High head coach Katlyn Ward. "Senior night always has high emotions and our girls once again played for each other — they had fun and played hard. I’ll be very very sad next year starting the season without these four."

Senior Toni Marinello posted a team-high five digs, senior Kenadie Kingery had two blocks, as did junior Rylee Dixon, and senior Aleigha Jensen had six kills for the Lady Spartans, which erased a 12-8 first set deficit, used a 9-0 run to capture a big second set victory, and led by as much as 11 at multiple points in the final set before notching the 12-point set win.

Sophomore McKinley Burgess-Duquette added six kills of her own while junior Raygn Turner tallied a team-high nine kills, five aces, and five digs in the non-league victory.

Priest River (10-1) travels to St. Maries for a 3A Central Idaho League matchup on Thursday.

Timberlake 3, Clark Fork 0

SPIRIT LAKE — Senior Aurora Lane registered a team-high five kills and added nine digs and a block as the Lady Cats were swept by the Lady Tigers (25-12, 25-13, 25-15) in a non-league game Tuesday night at Timberlake High.

Sophomore Gracie Stevens contributed a team-high 16 digs and freshman Kiylah Anderson had a team-high 11 assists and six digs for Clark Fork, which had to work around a couple of absences on the night.

"Ella Beaman saw action on the right side front row and Azylyn Anderson played stellar defense at right back," Clark Fork High head coach Lyndsie Kiebert-Carey said of the adjustments she made due to being short-handed. "We had moments of clicking, transitioning well and we were able to run some really nice plays out of middle that led to some awesome celebrations."

Freshman Vanessa Rogier chipped in four kills, six digs and a block while senior Piper Scarlett recorded seven digs and an ace.

Clark Fork (6-5) hosts Wallace for a 2A Scenic Idaho Conference matchup on Friday. The Lady Cats encourage all fans planning on attending to wear their best gold for the night's gold rush theme.
