Spikers get a home win over Browning

The Columbia Falls girls volleyball team split last week, losing to Polson last Tuesday in four sets, but bouncing back against Browning at home Thursday in three.
The Wildkats dispatched the Indians 25-2, 25-9, 25-15.
Kamryn Ladenburg led the squad with 13 kills against the Indians, while Rylee Sweeney had eight. Jezanie Brooks led the offense with 23 assists.
Brooks also had seven aces and Sweeney had five. Anabelle Middlesworth had three blocks.
The Kats lost to Polson 25-16, 22-25, 20-25 and 12-25.
The Kats defense faltered in the match, coach Jolandie Brooks said.
Still, they racked up 68 digs total and 36 kills.
Sweeney had 13 kills, Ladneburg 10. Middlesworth had six and Ashlyn Dunham three. Peyton Ross came off the bench and had two.
The Kats had just eight blocks, however. Brooks had 30 assists.
The Kats hosted Ronan Tuesday after presstime and then travel to Bigfork Thursday.
