Auditions still open for 'The Nutcracker Prince' at the Rex Theater

Auditions for the Rex Children’s Christmas play, “The Nutcracker Prince,” will be held Friday’s from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Rex Theater. Roles, with and without lines, are still available for all ages.  

Upcoming shows at the Rex include a faith-based matinee, Angel Studios "The King of Kings" on Sept. 28 and Oct 5. Showtime is at 1 p.m.; doors open at noon.

“Top Gun”: Rated (PG), Saturday, Sept. 27.  Showtime 4:30 p.m. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. U.S. Navy recruiters will be at the Rex Theater before and after the movie to speak with the public.  

“Ghostbusters”: Rated (PG), Saturday, Oct. 25. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. One or more moviegoers will win a ghostly surprise, theater officials said.
