Celebrate craft, creativity and community at the second annual Harvest Moon Fest Oct. 4.
The family-friendly fall arts festival brings together local makers and neighbors for a day of hands-on activities, games, artist demonstrations, tarot readings and live music. Guests can visit craft stations to make handmade art to take home. There will be art vendors, a photo booth, food trucks, beer and wine and a pie raffle.
Proceeds will benefit The Making Place, a grassroots nonprofit in Columbia Falls that offers shared community workspace, classes and a tool library for Flathead Valley residents.
“We see the need in our community for a third space — a public place where people can share their skills and practice their craft,” said Justin Barry, a board member and organizer with the nonprofit.
The Harvest Moon Fest will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 700 Mooring Road in Columbia Falls.
General admission starts at $10 at the door and includes access to the vendor marketplace, free games and activities and live music. Special admission, which includes a complimentary drink voucher and craft pass is $20.
